A HabitKit alternative with sync, a watch app and a web dashboard

HabitKit and HabitWall share the same idea: one tap fills a tile, and a year of tiles shows how consistent you really are. If you like that idea but want your wall on more than one device, this is how the two compare.

What HabitWall adds

  • Sign in once and the same wall shows on iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple Watch, Wear OS and the web. Sync is free.
  • Switch from iPhone to Android (or back) and keep every tile.
  • Apple Health and Health Connect can complete step, exercise, sleep and mindfulness habits for you.
  • A streak freeze holds your run through a sick week or a holiday.
  • Pro costs $11.99 a year, $1.49 a month or $27.99 once when bought on the web.

When HabitKit may suit you better

HabitKit has been around since 2022, has a large community and thousands of App Store ratings. If you only ever use one phone and never want an account, it is a solid choice.

Moving from HabitKit

There is no importer for HabitKit backups yet, so habits and history have to be re-entered. Most people start fresh with their two or three most important habits and let the new wall fill up from today.

Questions

Is HabitWall free?

Yes, it is free to download. The free plan includes sync between devices, the watch apps, a widget and reminders. Pro adds unlimited habits, health auto-tracking, streak freeze and the weekly recap.

Does HabitKit sync between devices?

No. HabitKit's help centre says it does not sync; moving to a new phone means exporting a file and importing it. HabitWall syncs automatically once you sign in.

Can I import my HabitKit data?

Not yet. HabitWall has no importer for other trackers, so history has to be re-entered.
